Mold Spring Clean
Mold Spring Clean is back! The annual Spring Clean of our town which will include litter-picking and weeding, will be taking place across two weeks from Monday 11th May through to Friday 22nd May, with Saturday 16th May being ‘Super Saturday litter pick’. The weeks either side of Saturday 16th, Springy (our Spring Clean mascot) is encouraging business, groups and schools to carry out a litter pick around their area and take pride in their town. Mold Plastic Reduction will be helping out on Saturday 16th May to segregate plastics for recycling, with demonstrations on how to melt down and make recycled plastic items.
All litter collection and weeding materials will be supplied and you can choose which day you join in. If you want to get involved, you can register your interest by emailing supportofficer@moldtowncouncil.org.uk , by phoning 01352 758532 (opt 3), or speak to the organisers on Super Saturday (16th May) at the gazebo, outside the Daniel Owen Centre on the Square, from 10am (event closes at 2pm).
